Domestic waste should be discharged in the evening (after sunset). Discharge of domestic waste is prohibited on Saturdays as the waste collectors do not work on Sundays. The guidelies on discharge domestic waste are provided below:

Type VBWF bag color Item Guideline
1. Combustible waste White bag Paper, wood, rubber, synthetic resin - Place them in a VBWF bag and tie a knot
2. Food waste Green bag Left-overs, fruits, vgetables (excl. shells, animal bones) - Remove excess moisture, place it inside a VBWF bag, and tie a knot
3. Non-combustible waste Yellow bag Dishes, glass, plant pots, bones, animal bones, metal compounds - Wrap with newspaper, vinyl, etc. to prevent cuts and wounds during collection
4. Large waste Sticker High-volume items such as sofa, bed, furniture, chair, etc. - Eup: purchase a sticker from a collection agency (Hongseong-Hongju Enviromentn 634-3999 / Gwangcheon-Uri Environment 634-7554)
- Myeon: purchase a sticker in the residential area
